What To Bring To Sessions.

Getting ready for a bouldering session is super easy.

You don’t need much to get started but the list below should help to make sure you are prepared to have a great session!

Essentials

These are the must-haves for every visit:

  • Comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Trying to climb in restrictive clothing can be annoying!

  • Water Bottle to ensure you stay hydrated whilst climbing. Food and Drink are also available from the gym cafes.

  • A positive attitude. We all start somewhere. Whether it’s your first climb or your hundredth, come ready to try, try and try again!

Climbing Shoes

  • Don’t have climbing shoes? No problem. All of the gyms that we climb at offer shoe hire.

Optional but Helpful

These aren’t required, but many climbers like to bring them:

  • Chalk or chalk bag.

  • Climbing brush.

  • Finger tape for extra support or skin protection

If you do not have any of the above, don't panic. The team have plenty to go around.

What You Don’t Need

❌ Ropes or harnesses (we’re a bouldering gym)

❌ Prior experience—beginners are always welcome

❌ Super strength—technique and balance matter more than you think!

First Time Visiting?

If it’s your first visit, please ensure that you have completed the waiver for the gym we are climbing at during that session. The details for all gyms can be found in the 'Climbing Centres We Climb At' tab.
